Lakeshore Trout Unlimited
Lakeshore Trout Unlimited is dedicated to the conservation, protection, and restoration of cold-water fisheries and their watersheds. Through habitat restoration, education, and advocacy, they work to preserve trout populations and improve water quality. Their efforts support sustainable fishing and healthy ecosystems for future generations of anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Mission.
Lakeshore Trout Unlimited came to us desiring a site that highlighted the conservation efforts of the group. It was also important that the group was able to communicate group activities to it's members, while being able to highlight the work that has been done.

Member Communication.
One of the first issues that Lakeshore TU ran into was trouble communicating with Members. While they had a strong presence through Facebook, they found that there was a disconnect in the communication through their site.

Conservation Transparency.
Highlighting conservation efforts was extremely important for Lakeshore TU. While their old site contained a lot of information, the information was not delivered effectively. Working with them to deliver their effort efficiently was important.

Site Structure.
Lakeshore TU is known for being incredibly active in conservation, and their work within the river systems of Sheboygan county is widely known. Improving site structure to connect the dots between their efforts, their social media, and their website was the main goal.
The Solution

Member Communication.
Through the site, we were able to create a site that effectively displayed the recent news from Lakeshore TU. Whether there were updates for their monthly meetings, or highlights for Chapter awards, being able to share this information was easily shared through the homepage.

Conservation Transparency.
Developing information for the conservation efforts of Lakeshore TU was one of the main projects. By building out the navigation in a way that could share their projects, and share the vision of the chapter, the site was able to fulfill these desires.

Site Structure.
As a long-standing organization, Trout Unlimited offers many resources for chapters. By incorporating Trout Unlimited's brand guides, we were able to better align Lakeshore TU with Trout Unlimited overall. This was done by updating the site navigation, colors, and typography.
